Joplin man allegedly assaulted former girlfriend, slashed her tires, broke car window


The Jasper County Prosecuting Attorney's office filed third-degree domestic assault and first-degree property damage charges against a Joplin man today following a weekend incident.

A cash-only $2,500 bond was set for Carl David Moore (DOB 1989) with a bond review scheduled for 8:30 a.m. July 23 in Jasper County Circuit Court.

The allegations against Moore were spelled out in the probable cause statement.







On 7/12/25, in Joplin, Jasper County, Missouri, Carl Moore committed the offenses of domestic assault third degree and property destruction first degree. Moore formerly dated V1. He was in her home and Moore was drunk. V1 attempted to leave in her car.

Moore got into the car with her, so V1 began walking away. Moore pushed V1 and she fell, hitting her head on the curb. This caused her physical pain.

Moore told V1 that he broke her car window When V1 returned to her car, the passenger side window was shattered, all four tires were cut and the driver seat was broken.

The case was investigated by the Joplin Police Department.

Domestic Violence does not need an official statement 4:57AM. It is a terrible and tragic situation, and the perpetrators need to be imprisoned. Give us your Official Statement, waiting, for your small mind to answer basement dweller.
