Ruestman: Economy good when Wal-Mart parking lot is full
Rep. Marilyn Ruestman, R-Joplin, apparently has been demonstrating her knowledge of economics recently, according to a fun conversation on the Neosho Forums website.
Apparently, Ms. Ruestman said the economy is going great guns because the local Wal-Mart parking lot is full. Maybe that's one of those leading economic indicators the Bush administration checks when it talks about how strong our economy is.
