Springfield man killed in Washington plane crash

Michael Ekholm, 50, a Springfield native was killed in a July 2 plane crash near Spokane, Wash., according to the Tacoma News-Tribune.
Ekholm, an Air Force veteran, had just resumed flying, the article said.
