In the posts on legislators receiving tickets from MU lobbyist Stephen Knorr for the May 17 Kenny Chesney concert in Columbia, I noted that it took Sen. Jason Crowell, R-Cape Girardeau, nearly two months to reimburse the cost of the ticket.
It is an unfair criticism. A check of lobbyist disclosure forms for Crowell indicate that he has followed the same pattern for nearly every gift he has received from a lobbyist in 2007.
Out of 10 gifts he received from lobbyists, Crowell fully reimbursed the lobbyists for the first eight and only accepted gifts worth a total of $39.58 during the 2007 legislative session.
