KY3 Blog- Missouri Right to Life may support Huckabee

KY3 Political Blog reports Missouri Right to Life may buck the national organization and endorse former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee for president. Nationally, Right to Life endorsed former Tennessee Sen. Fred Thompson:

Dave Plemmons, of Missouri Right to Life, tells the KY3 Political Notebook the group is looking closely at Republican candidates Fred Thompson and Mike Huckabee. Plemmons is urging anyone with an opinion to contact him as soon as possible if they want their opinions to be considered by Right to Life's board.

While National Right to Life endorsed Thompson, his lackluster campaign coupled with Huckabee's growing grass-roots support among conservatives in southwest Missouri could plausibly make the former Arkansas Governor the favorite for the nod.

An endorsement from the active anti-abortion group could mean an important boost strategically and financially for a candidate in a muddled race.

Huck is at least as affable as George W. and can pronounce "nuclear." Why wouldn't we want another Bush in the White House, it's gone so well under this one. They've managed to fight off the threat of the 90's peace and prosperity quite well.

The Republicans have not served the Right-to-Life interests well while they had total control over all branches of government for the last decade. It's patently clear that they want to use the issue to divide people and garner votes, and after the election immediately forget about abortions until the next election looms. If they were really interested in "right to life," they'd be protesting the fertility clinics that create thousands of embryos (life) that are doomed to be flushed down the bio-waste bin. The GOP could have introduced a right-to-life Constitutional Amendment years ago that would be immune from court tampering, but instead they like to use the issue to pack the court with ultraconservative, friends-of-international-corporation judges who rule to weaken social safeguards, such as those for the children who actually get born.

Hmmmmm.....and the democratic liberals love to get the black vote yet they do nothing, absolutely nothing to deserve them. When was the last meaningful piece of legislation passed that deserved te democratic vote?
