A big thank you to John Hacker for sending me this aerial photo of the new Joplin High School.

The athletic fields appear to be finished...artificial turf, lights, and striping. Nice to know what the priorities are.
6:48- What we voted for and what we got are two extremely different things. The building will be a nice facility, but they have cut corners on the academic part and indulged in the athletic part. Strange priorities. Now we just hope parts of it don't sink in, fall off, or burn up from the cost-cutting they supposedly have done.

You guys who voted for this......what the hell were you thinking?
I didn't vote for it but I don't think those who did realized how much money would be going to athletic fields, etc.

You knew what was coming. The plans were ridiculous. But you voted for it.
