It's about time one of the city council members starts losing patience with this scam company. Long overdue in my opinion.

Isnt this the second deadline that was missed? I mean, really, if you are a master developer… wouldnt you already know or have in place a current appraisal?

This is a stalling strategy…

Wake up City Council !!! Stop this nonsense now...

The council's collective patience should have thinned out enough long ago to have done something by now about W-B. Of course, had they been paying attention at the outset, they never would have contractually hitched their wagon to W-B's dead horse. There were plenty of indicators that W-B would wind up exactly where it is.

Could it be that the failure of the City to properly deal with W-B is connected to a large construction company that has, from the start, stood to gain mightily from W-B's status as Master Developer.

There are powerful interests who aren't about to see W-B booted--not without trying as hard as they can to prevent it from happening.

But if enough council members can "grow a pair" and stand up to those interests and W-B, those interests will decide it's the better part of valor to disown W-B and we'll finally be rid of that group.

Poster said they were tied to a large construction company in town but that may change also. The Oreilly group has already announced a Springfield company will be building the senior development.

Well, it wasn't an O'Reilly shill they brought in to try and smooth things over (despite the complete lack of ability to do so).
