Annie Sharp: I want to know about the passions of our new board members
A report from KSN News on the appointment of Shawn McGrew to the Joplin R-8 Board of Education
Once more the board has ignored the voters/taxpayers of this school district by not selecting Mr Koch. He got more votes than Mr McGrew in the recent election and had tremendous public support in his bid for the position. Obviously, there are 4 members who do exactly what CJ tells them to do. It will be very surprising if McGrew has a mind of his own and votes differently than the 4 pawns who voted him in.

They damm sure didn't want an ex police chief on there.
Let's be posititve. Now Jeff can run for a 3 year term vs a 6 month appointment.
