Hearing set for Carthage school board member on DWI charge

A 9:30 a.m. Monday, September 15, pre-trial conference is scheduled for Carthage R-9 Board of Education member Dr. Mark Westhoff in Newton County Circuit Court.

Westhoff is charged with driving while intoxicated, failure to drive on the right side of the road, and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle. He was arrested May 9 by the Missouri Highway Patrol.

Westhoff is represented by Joplin attorney Brian Glades.
