...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT CST
TONIGHT...

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL
MIDNIGHT CST TONIGHT.

* SHORT TERM TRENDS...BANDS OF SNOW WILL CONTINUE TO PUSH EAST
SOUTHEAST ACROSS THE MISSOURI OZARKS THIS AFTERNOON. MANY
LOCATIONS NORTH OF I-44 AND WEST OF HIGHWAY 65 HAVE ALREADY
PICKED UP ONE TO THREE INCHES OF SNOW. LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT AND
THE MISSOURI DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION INDICATE THAT ROADS
ARE BECOMING SNOW COVERED AND POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS IN MANY
  LOCATIONS...WITH NUMEROUS ACCIDENTS BEING REPORTED.

SNOW WILL END FROM WEST TO EAST LATER THIS AFTERNOON INTO THIS
EVENING. ONE TO THREE INCHES OF SNOW...WITH LOCAL AMOUNTS UP TO
  FOUR INCHES CAN BE EXPECTED.

* TIMING AND AREAS AFFECTED...SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS AND THE MISSOURI
  OZARKS INTO THIS EVENING.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...ONE TO THREE INCHES OF SNOW...WITH SOME
ENHANCED SNOW ACCUMULATIONS BETWEEN THREE AND FOUR INCHES ACROSS
  SOUTHWESTERN MISSOURI AND SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS.

* WINDS AND VISIBILITY...VISIBILITY MAY BE REDUCED TO LESS THAN A
MILE IN AREAS OF MODERATE OR HEAVY SNOW.

* IMPACTS...SNOW WILL RESULT IN HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS AS
SLICK SPOTS DEVELOP ON AREA ROADS...ESPECIALLY ON BRIDGES...
OVERPASSES AND UNTREATED SURFACES. VISIBILITY WILL ALSO BE
REDUCED AT TIMES IN AREAS OF MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW
WILL CAUSE PRIMARILY TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR SNOW
COVERED ROADS AND LIMITED VISIBILITIES...AND USE CAUTION WHILE
DRIVING.
