Brian Williams takes leave of absence, NBC launches investigation

NBC Evening News anchor Brian Williams, who got his start in television news at KOAM, is under fire for giving false accounts of a trip to Iraq. Questions are also being asked about his coverage of Hurricane Katrina.

Williams is stepping down temporarily from his anchor duties and NBC has launched an internal investigation.
