Some of my Facebook friends pointed out this YouTube video of last week's East Newton Board of Education candidate forum. Those who are interested in East Newton education issues can watch the whole thing. Those who want to hear a board candidate go off the rails and go on a rant about a former teacher in the Joplin R-8 School District (me) can find that at the 16-minute mark.
For those who are not familiar with Martin Lindstedt, he has been responsible for many of the comments against me on this blog over the years. In those comments, he makes just as much sense as he does in this video.

What the best thing to remove spit from my screen? I watched that video and now I think there is spit all over the inside of my screen. I'm on hold right now for tech support... :-(
Don't forget the reason he was incarcerated. If memory serves, it was for molesting a child.

Oh come on, you all need Martin on that School Board. His experience will be invaluable when these kids all grow up and go to prison.
@11:27, he is not an EN graduate. Trust me, we are all as appalled that he lives in our district as others in the outside are watching him.
I don't where or if he graduated from high school, but he is a life long Granby resident. He has been a political gadfly for at least the last 25 years, running for Senate, Governor, Mayor, school board, all in pretty much reverse order of what is normal. His mom had some mental health issues as well but was pretty harmless. I always figured Marty was as well until he picked up the Aryan Nation nonsense.
