The following message was posted on Facebook about an hour ago:
We are still gathering information but currently we know there has been extensive damage to Goodman Elementary. We will know more once we can get more of our people on the ground there. Our Goodman custodian, Lucky, was in the building during the storm but took shelter and wasn't injured.
Our transportation team is currently out driving roads to start making a plan for school tomorrow and what that may look like.
The area is difficult to navigate right now so please do not try and access the area unless you are a resident or are authorized personnel. We will update as information comes available.
About 10 minutes after that message was posted, another message announced that classes would be called off.
