Tawnya Bach and the KOAM News "drug scandal"

Don't worry, Tawnya Bach fans.

KOAM's noon newscast anchor isn't going to be fired, suspended, or even reprimanded.

That being said, I just loved it when she told viewers moments ago the latest news about marijuana.

"The number of people wanting to see marijuana legalized is at an all-time high."

Sorry, I love puns, even when they are not intended.

And if it was intended, even better.

It is sad that when a majority of Americans want cannabis legalized that the majority's wishes are not acknowled.

I'm glad that they are not "acknowled". Just what the world needs is more stoners...fire another one up.

So a person that would chose to use a non-addictive safe alternative that had never been attributed to ine single overdose death such as cannnabis instead of highly addictive opioids that thousands of people die from overdoses every year is a stoner? Sounds kinda backwards to me, but I'm just a college educated idiot that looks at facts.......

Got to be so sick of this whole perpetuation of the myth that marijuana is almost to the point where it's actually good for you. Anything you breathe into your lungs is bad for you, period. THC in your system is not a good thing. With so many other issues in the world such as poverty, disparity of wealth, drought, War, genocide, don't you think there are bigger issues to focus our energy on that the legalization of drugs? Are you freaking kidding me? If you make this your life priority as it seems so many do to legalize marijuana then your priorities are severely screwed up, just my opinion and the opinion of many many others. How about you be productive and commit that time and energy that you have in the legalization of drugs and resolving some real-world problems.

Yeah, 'cause that's why all these junkies are whacking up opiods is that they can't get any cannabis. If you believe that, your college education could have used a major upgrade in logic and critical thinking. I don't give a diddly whether they legalize it or not, but y'all putting up silly BS like that as an actual argument aren't doing yourself any favors. Cannabis as World Savior and Curer Of All Ills. Pfft. You HAVE to be high to present this kind of mouth-breathing malarky as a real fact. Do any of you clowns actually believe that wad of horsepucky? Bottom Line: It's just another psychoactive weed, for chrissakes. Stop pretending it's anything else, and get on with legalizing your right to chew or smoke or whatever whichever noxious substance you want instead of trying to make it The Best Idea In The History Of The World. Friggin' hippies.

To pretend that it has no medicinal value is ignorant. It just shows that you're blind to any real evidence and chose to stand by your outdated prejudice. No, it's not a cure all, but it has real benefits and is far less harmful than any other medication out there. It is safer(and more beneficial) than alcohol, tobacco, tylenol, advil... you name it, cannabis is safer.

2:38: now you are the one showing your ignorance. Show me proof, not some obscure article on the internet but I want documented, scientific, clinical proof. And when you find that I can find you five other clinical trials and research documents to show you that it's harmful. All I am saying to you is that don't believe everything you read on the internet, do your research and don't be completely blind to the harmful effects it also has. But don't tell me that it's safer than Tylenol when that is definitely not the case and has not been proven or shown anywhere. Talk like that is what is so dangerous for today's you.

You're talking out of your ass and I can smell it from here. "Not safer than Tylenol", do you're own research, how many people have died from an allergic reaction or overdose of acetaminophen, now how many have died from an allergic reaction or overdose to cannabis.

You also can't tell someone to do their own research and then not believe what they read, considering how difficult research into this is. But it doesn't take clinical trials to prove how beneficial it is.

12:51: I've done mine. Your comments are without intellect and lack merit. Again do research. Until then it's only your opinion. It's not beneficial, no, stop, just stop with the B.S.

Anonymous said...

Don't pretend these comments lack merit. You can't say it's not beneficial, it's already proven that it is. Just look it up genius... cannabis and epilepsy, cannabis and cancer, cannabis and anxiety, cannabis and depression, cannabis and insomnia, cannabis and arthritis.

Won't because you're lazy/don't know how? It's ok, I got you covered.

About that BS.....

Ahhhh...must have butt hurt you a bit???...lol. internet troll who has obviously never done any real research with peer reviewed, scholarly articles. Right back at ya "genius"....I can do this all day. Just getting warmed up:

There you go big guy. Threw in the last one just for kicks just in case you want to do a little research on how legalizing weed in Colorado has turned out for everyone. Listen to the doctors and the people who were for it and are now against it because of the devastation, vagrancy, and crime it's bringing to their cities. Oh it's real but then again you don't seem capable of independent thought and the intellect to be able to comprehend what is really happening. Good luck and get over yourself.

And instead of thinking maybe it needs more research, you're going to immediately assume it's dangerous, instead of... doing your own research.

*Mic drop*

LOL... That's really all you got here? Stumble through some incoherent sentence that has no validity, makes no point then try to punctuate it was something like mic drop? That's rich. You are obviously overmatched and have given up. I'm out. Be more prepared next time.
