Springfield-Greene County Health Department reports potential COVID-19 exposure over seven-day period at McDonald's

(From the Springfield-Greene County Health Department)

The Springfield-Greene County Health Department is notifying the public of potential community exposures from a COVID-19 positive individual.

Prior to being diagnosed, our case worked at the McDonald’s at 2811 N. Kansas Expy on the following days:
Friday, May 29 from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m.
Saturday, May 30 from 5 a.m. to 8:20 a.m.
Tuesday, June 2 from 5 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Wednesday, June 3 from 6 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Friday, June 5 from 5 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Saturday, June 6 from 5 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Tuesday, June 9 from 5 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.

The individual was symptomatic while working and wore a face covering and gloves while interacting with customers in the lobby and drive-thru. Sneeze guards were also in place between the individual and customers.

Anyone who was at this location on these dates is at low risk for contracting COVID-19, but should monitor for symptoms. There is no need to self-quarantine or isolate unless symptoms develop. The Health Department is making direct contact with employees who were in close contact with the individual.

This latest case is yet another reminder for all of us to interact with our environment carefully. If

someone is sick or thinks they may be sick, they need to stay home.

A timeline of all known potential community exposures in the last 14 days is available here.
