Probable cause: Neosho man says he used alcohol, marijuana, meth before running red light, nearly hitting car

The Newton County Prosecuting Attorney filed driving while intoxicated charges Wednesday against a Neosho man who allegedly had alcohol, marijuana and meth before driving through a red light and nearly hitting another vehicle.

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Christopher Todd Drum (DOB 1997) and bond set at $3,500 surety.

According to the probable cause statement, Drum smelled of marijuana when he was stopped at 1599 N. Business 49 and Kodiak Road in Neosho, was sweating profusely and mumbled his speech and told the investigating Newton County Sheriff's Office deputy that he "used marijuana, alcohol and methamphetamines prior to driving."
