Congressman Kenny Hulshof has the early lead in the governor's race with 4,093 votes or 47.4 percent, to 3,643, 42.2 percent for State Treasurer Sarah Steelman.
Jeff Harris has a narrow lead in the Democratic race for attorney general with 3,057 votes, 32.7 percent, to 2,919, 31.2 for Chris Koster, and 2,422, 25.9, for Margaret Donnelly.
