Different views of Lay in Post, Chronicle articles
New York Post columnist John Crudele offers a glimpse of the private Ken Lay in today's edition. It doesn't pull any punches with its indictment of the former Enron CEO, but it does offer some thoughts about the man behind the image.
In Enron's hometown, Houston, a Chronicle editorial puts Mr. Lay's death in perspective.
Mr. Lay, a Missouri native, died Wednesday following a massive heart attack.
