Gov. Matt Blunt just concluded an approximately 50-minute State of the State address, which included his spin on health care, pushes for curbs on illegal immigration, and promises to add more money for education and to strengthen law enforcement.
As usual, the speech was interrupted numerous times for applause, though, as usual, the applause came almost universally from the Republican side of the aisle.
Blunt also made pushes for more funding for higher education and elementary and secondary education.
