Governor visits Joplin High School, talks to new teachers

Gov. Jay Nixon made a stop at the new Joplin High School Wednesday and was guided on a tour of the facility by Superintendent C. J. Huff and High School Principal Kerry Sachetta, according to the Bright Futures Joplin Facebook page.

Nixon also talked to new teachers to the Joplin R-8 School District who were taking part in the annual TOPS training.
