Trial date set for former Webb City teacher charged with sex with student

An October 5 trial date is scheduled in Jasper County Circuit Court for a former Webb City High School vocal music teacher charged with having sexual contact with a student.

A June 12 court date is set for pre-trial motions or a possible plea.

Carrie Njoroge is represented by Springfield attorney Dee Wampler.

The probable cause statement says Mrs. Njoroge is being charged with an after-hours sex act with an 18-year-old high school student that allegedly took place Tuesday, April 15, in her office at the school.

I would like to see her mugshot from when she was arrested. The photo from the post is like she is grinning about what she got caught for.
