Joplin R-8 Board accepts 15 resignations, including Doshier and North teacher facing kidnapping, rape charges

The Joplin R-8 Board of Education accepted 15 resignations and one retirement last week.

The retirement was from longtime athletic director Jeff Starkweather.

The list of resignations included Executive Director of Curriculum, Assessment, and Instruction Jennifer Doshier and North Middle School reading teacher Amanda Schweitzer.

Schweitzer has been on administrative leave following a Joplin Police Department investigation into her allegedly sending nude photos of herself to three students.

The investigation led to a charge of statutory rape in Jasper County and charges of kidnapping, statutory rape, and statutory sodomy in Newton County.

Others whose resignations were accepted included Candice Brown, Tabatha Culbertson, Rebecca Jakaitis, Chelsea Mayfield, Martha Mayberry, Katlyn Miller, Darleen Moore, Spencer Paul, Stephanie Prather, Morgan Stancil, Jamie Sutton, Cody VanVactor, and Jessica Whiteley.

The board hired seven certified personnel- Katie Bozarth, Katherine Johnson, Alexis Leonhart, Victoria Overton, Brendan Schneider, Kristi Schwab, and Cassandra Williams.

Why don't you put a picture of yourself and a short explanation of why you got fired in between the two female teachers and retitle the blog post "The Joplin Rogue Teacher Hall of Fame", Randy?

Meet Bill. Bill is a liberal and does not like Fox News. Most everything on Fox News goes against what Bill believes. It irritates Bill. He figured that out after watching Fox News a few times. Now Bill never watches Fox News. He watches or reads news and information sites that he enjoys reading and that do not irritate him. Be like Bill.

I have read this blog since Turner was fired from Joplin Schools. There is no doubt that he has an intense dislike of CJ Huff and has written a lot about him. As far as I can tell, nearly every word he has written about CJ has been true. Turner may be obsessed with CJ, but if he is, his obsession pales in comparison to these nuts who write in ripping Turner on every post. I am trying to figure out just what Turner could have done to make these people hate him so much. They and it probably is just one or two people leave no doubt they are filled with hate. I have never received that impression from Turner.

Yes, it must only be one or two people because NO ONE could have a different opinion than yours, right? Love how turner and others try to minimize the amount of people that dislike him by saying one person is posting "all the negative things".

I don't plan on taking offense at these people who are fixated with me, whether it is one or two or hundreds. The one thing they have in common is that they all keep reading the Turner Report.

There is an elementary and middle school in Newton County

The Newton County charges allege that she took the boy (hence the kidnapping charge) to a campground in Newton County and had sex with him.

Those who weren't wronged by CJ's regime can't imagine how insidious it was. Even the few last ones who are still there, were indelibly altered by the mindset & will probably never reclaim who they were pre-CJ. I can't help but think of the Nicodemus family & how they are forever changed by foolish pride.

Why are you on this blog Mr. Anonymous?

Well, at least you know you're biased, 7:31 PM. At least we know Turner won in the long run, due to his biases being right..
