Baxter Springs High School closes due to COVID-19

Due to the number of positive covid cases and the number of close contact quarantines, Baxter Springs High School will shift to at home Remote Learning for all students in grades 9 through 12 starting tomorrow, Thursday September 10th, through the end of day on Friday September 18th. 

We expect school for students in grades 9 through 12 to resume normally on Monday September 21st. All grades 9 through 12 extracurricular activities are cancelled during this time.

Remote learning for students grades 9 through 12 begins at 8 am and continues throughout the day where you will be zooming with staff through links that will be posted in Canvas.

For students in grades 8th and lower, school is in session normally and there are no changes at this time. Lincoln, Central, and the Middle School will be in session, per normal, throughout this time.
