Missouri reports five COVID-19 deaths, 1,365 new cases

 

Five Missourians died due to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, according to statistics posted this afternoon by the Department of Health and Senior Services.

The new cases increase the state's count to 1,952.

An additional 1,365 coronavirus cases were confirmed, putting the state's total at 118,311.

The number of people who are hospitalized climbed back over the 1,000 mark at 1,056, while the percentage of people testing positive was 11.7 percent.
