Joplin confirms 37 COVID-19 cases in past two days, number of city residents hospitalized increases

 

The city of Joplin confirmed 37 COVID-19 cases in the past two days, according to statistics posted today on the city's COVID-19 dashboard.

Joplin has had 1,306 cases. Of those cases, 157 are active, down from 182 on Wednesday.

The number of city residents who are hospitalized increased from nine to 11, while the number of COVID-19 patients at Mercy and Freeman hospitals decreased from 52 to 47.
