Thirty-eight more COVID-19 cases in Joplin

The City of Joplin reported 38 COVID-19 cases within a 24-hour period, according to statistics posted this morning on the city's COVID-19 dashboard.


The number of active cases increased from 188 to 208.






The number of people hospitalized with the coronavirus at Freeman and Mercy hospitals, which reached an all-time high of 57 the previous day, was down to 51. with the number of Joplin residents hospitalized remaining at 11.

The city has recorded 23 deaths due to COVID-19.
