Man in his 60s, woman in her 90s are 29th and 30th Jasper County COVID-19 deaths


In a news release issued this afternoon, the Jasper County Health Department reported the county's 29th and 30th deaths due to COVID-19.

Both victims, a man in his 60s and a woman in her 90s had been hospitalized prior to their deaths.








Jasper County had 48 COVID-19 cases over the weekend, bringing the total to 2,360.

The number of cases in isolation dropped from 185 to 153, while the number hospitalized remained at 23.

The statistics do not include the portion of Jasper County that is located in the Joplin city limits.
