Fewer COVID-19 patients at Joplin hospitals, 22 cases confirmed in past two days

 

Though the numbers are still high, the good news for the City of Joplin is that the latest posting of statistics on the city's COVID-19 dashboard made a marked move for the positive.

The Joplin Health Department confirmed 22 cases over the past two days.







The number of city residents who are hospitalized decreased from 10 to 9, while the number under quarantine fell from 409 to 401.

The number of COVID-19 patients at Freeman and Mercy hospitals dropped from 63 to 52.

Joplin has recorded 23 deaths due to COVID-19.
