Joplin posts 44 new COVID-19 cases in 24 hours, more than 300 under quarantine

The City of Joplin recorded 44 new COVID-19 cases in a 24-hour period, according to statistics posted on the city's COVID-19 dashboard this morning.

The total is at 975 with the number of active cases reaching 95, up from 87 the previous day.








The number of people who are under quarantine increased from 281 to 302.

The number of people who are in COVID-19 units at Freeman and Mercy dropped from 50 to 45, with the number of Joplin residents hospitalized falling from 11 to seven.
