Fifty-one Carthage High School students are under quarantine, according to statistics posted Friday on the Carthage R-9 School District's COVID-19 dashboard. No staff members are under quarantine.
The high school has four positive cases among students and one staff member.
None of the district's other school buildings have any positive coronavirus cases, but the sixth grade center is the only building that does not have anyone under quarantine.
Quarantine totals for the other buildings are:
Early Childhood Center 12
Columbian Elementary 15
Fairview Elementary 1
Mark Twain Elementary 2
Pleasant Valley Elementary 9
Steadley Elementary 2
Carthage Intermediate Center 5
Carthage Junior High School 5
Three employees in maintenance and transportation are quarantined, with one positive case reported.
