A Carl Junction man pleaded guilty today in U. S. District Court in Springfield to possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and possession of a weapon in commission of a crime.
A presentence investigation was ordered for Chet Edwin Mercer, 34. No date has been scheduled for the sentencing.
Mercer was arrested November 30, 2021 following an investigation by the Ozarks Drug Enforcement Team.
