Joplin Writers' Faire set for Saturday

 

The largest ever Joplin Writers' Faire is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. this Saturday, October 7 at the Joplin Public Library.

I will be there, along with approximately 40 other local authors.

Signed copies of my newer books, Only in Lamar Missouri: Harry Truman, Wyatt Earp and Legendary Locals, the 10th anniversary edition of 5:41: Stories from the Joplin Tornado, Lost Angels: The Murders of Rowan Ford and Doug Ringler, Newton County Memories and The Buck Starts Here: Harry S. Truman and the City of Lamar will be available for purchase.







My older books, including Silver Lining in a Funnel Cloud: Greed, Corruption and the Joplin Tornado, Let Teachers Teach, Classroom Confidential, Scars from the Tornado and my novels, Devil's Messenger, No Child Left Alive and Small Town News will be available at sharply reduced prices.

I will be accepting signups for the nightly Turner Report Newsletter. Those who are added to the mailing list will receive a special surprise item.
