A Joplin woman waived her preliminary hearing today in Jasper County Circuit Court and was bound over for trial on possession of a controlled substance and stealing charges.
Amanda Kay Carel (DOB 1991) will be arraigned in Division III 9 a.m. November 21.
Carel was with her young child when she allegedly stole merchandise from Walmart and had a baggie of heroin fall out of her underwear, according to the probable cause statement.
