The Barton County Prosecuting Attorney's office filed felony charges today of distribution of a controlled sentence in a protected location and delivery of a controlled substance.
A warrant was issued for the arrest of Shirley Elizabeth Rose (DOB 1980), Lamar with bond set at $100,000 cash or surety.
According to the probable cause statement, the Lamar Police Department interviewed a person who claimed to have bought methamphetamine from Rose at her home, which is located 760 feet from the entrance to the Lamar City Park, a protected location.
The Lamar Police executed a search warrant at her home June 13 and discovered 26.6 grams of methamphetamine.
