First let's thank our Blog Host, Randy Turner, as Randy was previously a School Teacher.

Some of you want to criticize Teachers, yet they spend years acquiring a Bachelor's or Master's Degree. With the goal of Helping Students gain a good education. Teachers are with our children 6 Plus hours a day and yet they face adversity from Administration, Parents, and even Students. Many have encountered Physical Violence and Loss of Life doing their jobs.

A lot of Parents, fail to Help and Support their Children in School and use the System as a Babysitter, to handle their unruly, disruptive, and disrespectful children.

All of this while Teachers are paid a Low Salary to help educate, shape, and mold your Children for 12-13 years of their life.

For the second year in a row, Missouri ranks 50th in the nation for average beginning teacher pay ($34,052).

The 2021-2022 NEA Rankings and Estimates report puts Missouri teachers at 47th for average teacher pay ($52.481), up 1.79% from the previous year.

Maybe we can give some respect to our Teachers - they have a difficult job to do and your children's future can depend on them.
