Judge revokes probation of Joplin man, convicted in 2015 on child porn charge, sentences him to 7 months


During a hearing in U. S. District Court in Springfield this morning, Judge Douglas Harpool ruled that a Joplin man violated the terms of his probation, revoked the probation and sentenced him to seven months in prison, followed by lifetime supervised release.

Frank Ness, 54, was on supervised release after serving eight years in prison for a 2015 child pornography conviction.

Online court records do not indicate the nature of Ness' violation.







Ness has the right to appeal.
