Sentencing date set for Noel man who received bestiality porn, failed to register as a sex offender

A 10:45 a.m. Tuesday, May 7 sentencing hearing is scheduled in U. S. District Court in Springfield for Edward Sterling Hetherington, 64, Noel, who pleaded guilty January 8 to receiving bestiality porn and failure to register as a sex offender. 

As part of plea agreement, a second charge of receiving bestiality porn and a second charge of failing to register as a sex offender were dismissed.
