Former KODE anchor preparing for reconstructive surgery

Former KODE anchor and KSPR reporter Tracy Turner is back to work as a meteorologist at WHSV in Harrisonburg, Va., following a mastectomy in her home state of Idaho.
Ms. Turner told The Turner Report:

I am enjoying my time in Virginia and life is back to normal, at least for now. I went through a mastectomy in November to remove the cancer. My lymphnodes were clear of any cancer so the surgery was the only treatment I had to go through. I was very lucky the cancer had not spread since it was a large tumor. With the tumor size, there was a 98% chance it would be in my lymphatic system, but it was contained (in situ) in the breast. I am now waiting to get reconstructive surgery.
