Sarah Huckabee Sanders joins Brunner campaign

(From John Brunner for Governor)

John Brunner today announced that Sarah Huckabee Sanders has joined his campaign team as a Sr. Advisor.

“I am pleased to welcome Sarah Huckabee Sanders to our team. Sarah is an incredible political talent and brings a wealth of national and state experience to our campaign,” John Brunner said. “She shares my vision of electing pro-life leaders throughout the country who are steadfast in defense of our Bill of Rights, especially our religious liberty and our 1st Amendment.”

“We have a President who has launched a full assault on our values, and our nation’s Governors are leading from the front-lines to defend religious liberty and people of faith,” Sanders said. “I know John Brunner will defend life and our religious freedoms, and will deliver results for Missourians. I am proud to join his campaign, and I’m ready to help bring Missourians of all faiths together to elect Mr. Brunner as the next governor of Missouri.”

Sanders has advised major Republican campaigns, political action committees, and Fortune 500 companies throughout the United States, and was named one of TIME Magazine’s “40 under 40 Rising Stars in American Politics.” Sanders currently serves as a Senior Advisor to Trump for President. She started her career in President George W. Bush’s administration at the Department of Education. She ran Governor Mike Huckabee’s political action committee in advance of his 2008 Presidential campaign, then served as national political director for his campaign, directing the Governor’s landslide upset victory in the Iowa caucuses in 2008. In 2010, Sarah was campaign manager for John Boozman for U.S. Senate, and led Boozman’s campaign to the biggest margin of victory against any U.S. Senate incumbent in three decades. Sarah has worked as a senior adviser to Gov. Tim Pawlenty (MN) and Sen. Tom Cotton (AR), and was campaign manager for Huckabee for President 2016. Sarah makes regular appearances on Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, and ABC News. She is an active member of Fellowship Bible Church, and lives with her husband Bryan and their three children in Little Rock, Arkansas.

“Missourians need and deserve a leader for a change,” Sanders said. “John Brunner is a person of deep faith and conviction, a veteran, and the only candidate for governor on either side to be a life-long constitutional conservative, outsider, and businessperson. I know he will get real results, and get the job done for all Missourians.”
