AN ORDINANCE changing the name of Hearnes Boulevard, beginning at 33rd Street and extending south along said public right-of-way to the current City of Joplin south city boundary, to “Main Street” in the City of Joplin, Newton County, Missouri.

AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. 2004-256, passed by the Council of the City of Joplin, Missouri, November 15, 2004, by removing from District C-1 and including in District R-2 property as described below and located at 1401 East Central Street in the City of Joplin, Jasper County, Missouri.

COUNCIL BILL NO. 2016-125
AN ORDINANCE approving a purchase order to International Truck and Engine Corporation in the amount of One Hundred and Seventy-Two Thousand, Two Hundred Seventy-Six and no/100 Dollars ($172,276.00) in the City of Joplin, Missouri; providing how the cost shall be made and levied, and containing an emergency clause.

COUNCIL BILL NO. 2016-126
AN ORDINANCE  approving an Agreement with Joplin Area Habitat for Humanity Inc., for the acquisition of property necessary for the closure of the at-grade crossing near 10th Street and Sergeant Avenue; and authorizing the City Manager to convey the described property rights by Quit Claim deed; and containing an emergency clause.

COUNCIL BILL NO. 2016-127
AN ORDINANCE     amending Chapter 114, Traffic Section 114-822, Specific Speed Limits, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Joplin, Missouri to amend the speed limit on 32nd Street from Main Street to Jackson Avenue to 40 m.p.h.; and containing an emergency clause.

COUNCIL BILL NO.  2016-128 - AN ORDINANCE amending Chapter 114, Traffic Section 114-822, Specific Speed Limits, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Joplin, Missouri to amend the speed limit on Connecticut Avenue from 20th Street to Murphy Blvd. to 35 m.p.h.; and containing an emergency clause.

COUNCIL BILL NO. 2016-406
AN ORDINANCE approving the City of Joplin to execute Work Authorization Number 5 to the Master Services Agreement for Professional Administrative Consulting Services with Deloitte & Touche LLP to provide implementation and administrative activities, not to exceed One Million, Five Hundred Twenty One Thousand Dollars ($1,521,000.00) and authorizing the City Manager or his designee to execute said Agreement; and containing an emergency clause.
