Silvey to announce license fee office reform plan

Rep. Ryan Silvey, R-Kansas City, will announce a license fee office reform plan Monday, according to KC Buzz Blog.
Silvey's plan would award license fee contracts to not-for-profit organizations and end the patronage system that has existed in both Republican and Democratic administrations.

Democrat Doug Harpool proposed turning fee offices over to not for profits couple months ago. It is good to see the Republicans are following his leadership.

The Republicans cancelled the press conferences under pressure from Blunt.
They apparantly forgot to get his permission before demonstrating independent thought which of course is strictly prohibited by the Republican party.
