Late money continues to pour into Steelman, Hulshof campaigns

The Republican race for governor is going down to the wire with no slowdown in fundraising.

Candidates Kenny Hulshof and Sarah Steelman combined for nearly $46,500 in contributions, according to 24-hour reports filed today with the Missouri Ethics Commission.

Mrs. Steelman had a slight edge, receiving $24,400, including $13,500 from the 7th Senatorial District Republican Committee, St. Louis; $1,000 from Citizens for Policy Reform, and $1,000 from Citizens for Chuck Gross.

Hulshof reported $22,050, including $13,450 from the 23rd Senatorial District Committee, and $1,350 from the Associated Industries of Missouri PAC.
