It's not as if Ameren needed any more lobbyists.
When former U. S. Senator and Governor Kit Bond registered as a lobbyist March 11, he became the 15th lobbyist representing the power company.
Bond lists two clients, Ameren and his own company, Bond Strategic Services.
Makes it tough for Ameren's customers when the company has that kind of firepower at its beck and call.

No one lobbies for the Consumer. They are on their own and at the mercy of the power company.
