WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED... ELEVATED SNOW AND SLEET RISK. DISCUSSION... A NARROW BAND OF SNOW WILL IMPACT PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI OZARKS THROUGH THE EARLY MORNING. THE SNOW WILL BEGIN INITIALLY AS AN AREA OF SLEET...BUT WILL CHANGE OVER TO ALL SNOW. ONE TO TWO INCHES OF SNOW IS EXPECTED OVER AREAS GENERALLY NORTH OF AN SPRINGFIELD TO HARTVILLE TO HOUSTON TO ROUND SPRING MISSOURI LINE. LOCALIZED AMOUNTS UP TO THREE INCHES WILL BE POSSIBLE OVER THE EASTERN MISSOURI OZARKS. A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR THIS AREA WITH IMPACTS TO ROADWAYS EXPECTED. AREAS SOUTH OF THE HIGHWAY 60 CORRIDOR TO THE ARKANSAS BORDER WILL SEE LIGHT SLEET AND SNOW WITH A DUSTING POSSIBLE. THIS WILL CAUSE A FEW SLICK SPOTS ON AREA ROADWAYS ACROSS FAR SOUTHERN MISSOURI. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY. LINGERING LIGHT SNOW WILL BE POSSIBLE EARLY THURSDAY MORNING ACROSS THE FAR EASTERN MISSOURI OZARKS. LITTLE...IF ANY ADDITIONAL ACCUMULATION IS EXPECTED.
