Graves: I am still fighting to repeal and replace Obamacare

(From Sixth District Congressman Sam Graves)

It's hard to believe, but 2017 is already one quarter of the way over.

That means winter's gone (hopefully), baseball's here, and tax day is coming. With April 15 now less than two weeks away, I've been working to fulfill House Republicans' goal of reinventing our tax system by lowering rates, simplifying the tax code, and ensuring we have the money we need to invest in America's transportation infrastructure.

That is a cause I truly believe will help everyone in this country - keeping everyone and everything moving as safely and efficiently as possible - and ensuring our businesses can continue competing in a crowded global economy.

But this is just one of many priorities in Washington. In order to do my job effectively, I need to hear from you. Please take a minute to follow this link and fill out my official 2017 Survey.

I will continue working to repeal and replace Obamacare, to stop illegal immigration, roll back job-killing Obama-era EPA regulations, and ensure our military remains the strongest in the world.

You dip sticks, people do not want it appealed, they want it to be fine tuned and you had 7 years and many more to come up with a good workable plan. Do what other countries have done and pick and choose the best part of them all and pass it to help America. Stop had clapping a loser bunch of legislators Harv and tell them to get to work and do their job for the citizens instead versus working for corporations. All need to be replaced and shame on Senate for not confirming Obama pick for Supreme Court. Whiney little babies who do not want adults watching what they are doing behind mom and dads back.

Why is it so important for Republicans to repeal the Affordable Care Act? There is no question there are a number of things that need to be fixed in the plan but most of it is helping millions of Americans. The enormous tax break for the wealthy and insurance companies in the Republican plan certainly isn't going to help the average American. It's time for these politicians to think for themselves and listen to their constituents instead of following lock-step behind the misguided leaders of their respective party.

Two words will answer that question, "Citizens United".

to 1:35 PM - Enormous tax breaks for the wealthy and major profits for the insurance companies IS the Republican plan. They don't give two Sh_ts about helping anyone that isn't in the top 2%. Why do you think they keep pushing their plan when 56% of the population doesn't want their catastrophic version of health care? Fix what needs to be fixed in the ACA and back off! Or better yet, just rename it TrumpCare and all of his supporters will be happy as clams.
