Governor signing bills designed to help veterans

(From Gov. Eric Greitens)

This morning at 9:00 AM, Governor Greitens will be at Fort Leonard Wood to celebrate the Army’s 242nd birthday and sign two bills to help veterans. The Governor has promised to make Missouri the best state in the country for veterans. The event will be live-streamed on Facebook.

The Governor will sign SB 108 which ensures that Missourians who serve in another state’s National Guard or Reserve Armed Forces are given reemployment protection if they are called up for active duty. He will also sign SB 279, which will make it easier for veterans to get a veteran designation on their driver’s license.
