Today, Governor Eric Greitens signed the Real ID bill at Whiteman Air Force Base in Knob Noster, Missouri.
The bill will make it possible for Missouri citizens to get a driver’s license that is in line with federal standards, to ensure that Missourians can enter a military base, federal facility, or airplane.
At the signing, Governor Greitens stated, “I’m proud to sign this bill so that Missourians will be able to get on a plane or visit a military base with their driver’s license. We promised to get this done, and we’re keeping our promise.”
