Billy Long, Jason Smith, Luetkemeyer back Trump on decision to abandon Kurds

The bipartisan House vote to rebuke President Trump for withdrawing American troops from Syria and leaving our Kurdish allies at the mercy of Turkey caused a split in Missouri's Congressional delegation.

Three GOP representatives, Seventh District Congressman Billy Long, Eighth District Congressman Jason Smith and Third District Congressman Blaine Luetkemeyer voted against the proposal, backing the President's decision to withdraw the troops with hardly any notice.

Voting in the 354 to 60 majority were Second District Congresswoman Ann Wagner, Fourth District Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler and Sixth District Congressman Sam Graves, all Republicans, as well as First District Congressman Lacy Clay and Fifth District Congressman Emanuel Cleaver, Democrats.

It goes to show the majority of Americans that some of our congressional representatives just cannot help but to kiss the hind end of a misaligned person in charge of the executive branch of our government. History will tell of the poor choice Missouri residents made in selecting and electing these poor figures of human excrement.
