Success of Joplin High School championship football team to be recognized at R-8 Board meeting

The state runner-up Joplin High School football team will be recognized at the 7 p.m. Tuesday meeting of the Joplin R-8 Board of Education at the Memorial Education Building.

According to the board's preliminary agenda, the team's success, including second place in the state, all-state players, and the naming of Zach Westmoreland to the Max Preps Missouri First Team and Isaiah Davis as Gatorade's Missouri Football Player of the Year and Max Preps Missouri Player of the Year will be noted.
