Haiti Police reports arrest in murders of Davy and Natalie Lloyd

The Haiti National Police released a video on social media Wednesday indicating it has arrested a suspect in connection with the May 23 murders of missionaries Davy and Natalie Lloyd and Jude Montis.

Natalie Lloyd is the daughter of Rep. Ben Baker, R-Neosho.

The suspect was identified as Benice Celestin, 52.

In a post on X Thursday, Baker said Celestin "is definitely not an upper level gang member. But he had allegedly used the SIM card from Davy's phone."

According to Associated Press' coverage of the arrest, gangs, including those suspect of murdering the three missionaries, control 80 percent of Haiti's capital city Port-Au-Prince.

I hope they find all the participants and punish them severely - Haiti had abolished the Death Penalty, years ago, which is why criminals have no fear of killing, looting, and robbing.
